Antique Horsemans Pocketknife
Late 19th/early 20th C Horsemans knife with stag scales. All tools, with the exception of the hoof pick, have good snap & no play. Signs of sharpening to both knife blades. Both scale tools present, the tweezers being held in position rather too firmly but they do come out. Unusually there are no makers marks but I am quite confident this is of Sheffield make. Some patination but overall a very nice piece. Main blade length approx 68mm.

Made in London around 1880-90 by Arnold & sons, a company known for its surgical & vetinary products. This is a Pagets abcess knife with tortoiseshell scales, milled brass liners and a locking blade. Apart from a very small area of light pitting at the tip of the blade it is in excellent condition. A delightful tool for a rather unsavoury job... Blade length approx 53mm.

The knife blade has no snap whatsoever, has also got a little play and looks like someone has used a rotary tool to 'clean' it. Very good example of the George Ibberson survival knife issued from approximately 1944-1970. Blades are almost as new. The parkerised (I think) finish on the handle has worn sightly. Originally an unmarked version someone has at some point used a fine punch to mark ' R. O. /|\ ' onto the handle. Whether this is was a semi-official marking during service or a post service mark I cannot say. Hard to find in this condition, will make a fine addition to any collection. Blade length approx 94mm.

Made by/for Arnold & Sons London circa 1886. Arnolds supplied vetinary tools and in their 1886 catalogue this knife is priced at 3/6. Time and scarcity means it costs a little more now... Scales are buffalo horn. Snap is very good and play barely detectable. Blade length approx 45mm.

Made 1860-1900, this pocketknife by F Ward & co has scales that have aged beautifully, main blade has decent snap while the secondary does suffer from a weak backspring but does stay in either closed or open position. Main blade length approx 88mm.

I must be honest, I know very little about this knife, there are no makers marks anywhere but I'm pretty sure its Sheffield made. Construction is all steel, the body being made of slabs about 2.5mm thick. The shackle however is copper and of the type fitted to British military knives in the late 19th early 20th century. Snap on the blade is strong with no play, the marline spike has decent snap & a little sideways movement. Guessing the scales were polished but I like them the way they are.

Victorian Ladies Penknife
Delightful ladies multi blade made in Sheffield, makers mark is too worn to read. The Mother of Pearl scales are in good condition and all tools have good snap & no play. The only issue is a small loss to the end of the corkscrew. Blade length approx 40mm.

Fantastic old sportsmans knife with locking main blade, pen blade, marline spike and corkscrew. Tangs are stamped for 'M H & W Coventry' presumably the retailer as I am certain this is of Sheffield manufacture. A couple of small areas of pitting & the corkscrew has a little movement in the closed position, otherwise everything is as it should be with good snap and no play.

Rowbotham UKAEA Clasp Knife
1950's/60's large linesmans tool made by Rowbotham of Sheffield for the U.K.Atomic Energy Authority. NOT an SOE or special forces demolition knife as these are sometimes described. Knife blade has some scratch marks, both blade and the locking screwdriver have some very minor blemishes but otherwise in very good condition. Excellent snap & only very minimal sideways play, probably no more than when manufactured.

Buffalo Victorinox Golfer?
NOT factory made, this Victorinox has been re-built with buffalo scales and what look to be nickel silver pins. It has been done to a high standard and all tools operate as they should. There are a few rub marks to the blade & divot tool but nothing major.
