Very good example of the George Ibberson survival knife issued from approximately 1944-1970. Blades are almost as new. The parkerised (I think) finish on the handle has worn sightly. Originally an unmarked version someone has at some point used a fine punch to mark ' R. O. /|\ ' onto the handle. Whether this is was a semi-official marking during service or a post service mark I cannot say. Hard to find in this condition, will make a fine addition to any collection. Blade length approx 94mm.

Made 1860-1900, this pocketknife by F Ward & co has scales that have aged beautifully, main blade has decent snap while the secondary does suffer from a weak backspring but does stay in either closed or open position. Main blade length approx 88mm.

I must be honest, I know very little about this knife, there are no makers marks anywhere but I'm pretty sure its Sheffield made. Construction is all steel, the body being made of slabs about 2.5mm thick. The shackle however is copper and of the type fitted to British military knives in the late 19th early 20th century. Snap on the blade is strong with no play, the marline spike has decent snap & a little sideways movement. Guessing the scales were polished but I like them the way they are.

NOT factory made, this Victorinox has been re-built with buffalo scales and what look to be nickel silver pins. It has been done to a high standard and all tools operate as they should. There are a few rub marks to the blade & divot tool but nothing major.

Hard to find Safari, identical tool set to the GAK 1. Doesn't look to have had much use BUT there is a slight bend to the blade which doesn't cause any issues or even touch the central divider. Usual excellent Ibberson quality, the engine turned scales are stamped 2-51 on the inside. Main blade is etched for Merrill Pumps. Both blades have very good snap with no play. Condition is as new.

Here's an unusual one, an Italian army 3 piece clasp knife circa 1950 that has been re-bulit with oak scales and brass pins. 
Good snap all round, some sideways play to can opener. There is a small crack to the oak on the marline pin but there is no movement in it. Main blade length 70mm
