Made in Sheffield around 1920-1930 this knife was produced for the RAF Balloon & Kites Division for cutting rigging & fouled lines. Has signs of use/sharpening & the tip has been slightly deformed. Despite this I would still class the knife as in good condition. The wooden handle is very secure & the sheath is very good. Blade length approx 128mm/overall length 230mm.
